Why Oxycopter

Our project aims to provide solutions to certain difficulties experienced in drones used in fire and disaster response. Currently used fire drones cannot provide the desired efficiency due to weight and energy restrictions, their costs are high and the amount of payload they can carry is limited.

The Oxycopter we developed is designed to provide solutions to these problems. Basically, it is built on a system integrated with a 4×4 all-terrain vehicle with a body for water or chemical material to be taken from the water transport vehicle. Thanks to this system, the body of the drone is taken directly from the water transport vehicle on the ground and it is aimed to provide rapid intervention in the fire. In addition, we aim to overcome the current difficulties by combining the flight and fire extinguishing systems of the drone with this integrated system. In this way, we want to reduce costs and provide more effective intervention opportunities by increasing the efficiency of drones used in fire and disaster interventions with our project.
